Become a Ten-Gear Volunteer!Volunteers

Don’t have time to train to ride, but still plan to volunteer at the Memory Ride? Great! In addition to volunteering time, Memory Ride volunteers are also invited to help raise funds for a cure to end Alzheimer’s disease. “Ten-Gear Volunteer” fundraisers are able to setup their own personal fundraising webpage―just as riders do―and help support our cause.

To create your personal fundraising webpage, the steps are simple:

  1. Register as a volunteer for the 2012 Memory Ride

  2. As you complete the volunteer registration form, you will be prompted to your “HQ”. Continue to personalize your fundraising webpage with text and/or photos that have meaning to you.

  3. Email your family, friends, and colleagues with the link to your personal fundraising webpage, giving them an opportunity to support your efforts.

  4. You may adjust your fundraising minimum.

Note – volunteer fundraising is 100% optional. We greatly appreciate your support as a volunteer at the Memory Ride! If you choose not to fundraise, you may simply leave your HQ as is and not activated.

As a Ten-Gear Volunteer team member, you are eligible for special prizes when certain fundraising levels have been met.  More information to become available.
