Granite Ledges of Concord, in partnership with the MANH Alzheimer's Association, is pleased to present "An Evening of Awareness", in recognition of Alzheimer's Awareness Month, on Monday, November 23, 2009.
Speakers will include Susan Antkowiak, Manager, NH office of MANH Alzheimer's Association; Dr. Karen Bryant, Hospitalist, Concord Hospital; and Dr. Robert Santulli, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Door prizes to include the book "Still Alice" by Lisa Genova and the "Alice Bag," designed by Anna William! Hors d'oeuvres and beverages provided.

For people in any financial situation, this 1 1/2-hour presentation will offer information by an elder law attorney about important topics such as wills, durable power of attorney, health care proxy, and what Medicare and Medicaid do and do not cover.
While this program is not intended to substitute for a personal appointment with an elder law attorney, you will have the opportunity to hear about typical issues and problems that can be avoided or reduced by adequate planning.
