As many as 5.3 million people in the U.S. are living with Alzheimer's disease, the most common form of dementia. Chances are you know someone who has Alzheimer's or someone whose life has been impacted by the disease. Although currently there is no cure, proper treatment combined with the right services and support can make all the difference. Richard Levy, MD, will discuss the signs, stages and challenges of Alzheimer's and current treatment strategies. Susan Antkowiak from the N.H. Office of the Alzheimer's Association will provide additional information about support programs and services available for those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. Resource materials will be provided.
