Knowing the Difference: Senior Moments vs Warning Signs for Alzheimer's Disease (Hudson, NH)

Location:Mission Point, 200 Lowell Street, Hudson, NH

This program is approximately 1-1/2 hours in length. It provides a general overview of cognitive changes and memory loss association with normal aging. In addition, the following topics are also discussed: a review of dementia symptoms, Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, a review of the diagnostic process, current treatment options, the benefits of accessing support and education, etc. Communication tips may be addressed, depending upon the needs of the audience. This session is open to Alzheimer's caregivers and the general public. It would be helpful for professionals new to the field or who do not have extensive Alzheimer's training.
