Also, for individuals looking for groups that focus on a particular stage or a related dementia, here are a few alternative options:
Northern Vermont Youngy Onset Dementia Support Group: Meets the 2nd Tuesday evening of the month in Shelburne, VT. The group is for people under 65 with a diagnosis of dementia and their partner. Contact: Rachel Cummings, 802.288.8117 or Kathi Monteith, 802.985.8600.
Portland Area Atypical-Parkinson’s Support Group: Meets quarterly at the Parkinson's Information & Referral Center in Falmouth, ME.
